State Sen. Jim Tomes (R-Wadesville) serves as Master of Ceremonies at the Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging's annual Veterans Celebration in Evansville.
Tomes met and spoke with locals like Evansville City Councilwoman Jill Hahn (first photo), singer Gina Moore (second photo, far left) and pastor John Herring Jr. (second photo, second from left) during the event, which hosted a variety of activities and entertainment.
"I was honored to be invited to be Master of Ceremonies for another year at the SWIRCA Veterans Celebration," Tomes said. "As a veteran myself, I truly enjoy events like these that honor our servicemen and women who fought to defend our freedoms and our great nation. I want to thank SWIRCA for having my wife and I, and I look forward to future celebrations."
