State Sen. Mark Messmer to serve on roads and transportation study committee

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2023) — State Sen. Mark Messmer (R-Jasper) will serve as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation in preparation for the 2024 legislative session.

"Good infrastructure helps attract new businesses and residents to our state and communities," Messmer said. "This is why I am pleased to serve on the roads and transportation study committee as we will consider ways to make highways safer for Hoosier motorists."

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
