STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2023) — State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) will serve as chair of the Legislative Council's Audit and Financial Reporting Subcommittee and as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Pension Management Oversight in preparation for the 2024 legislative session.
"Study committees give lawmakers an opportunity to take an in-depth look into issues impacting Hoosiers," Bassler said. "I am pleased to continue to work for Senate District 39 throughout the year by serving on these committees, and look forward to the discussions we'll have in the months ahead."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
