Planning for postsecondary education can be a confusing and worrisome process for Hoosier students and families, especially when it comes to financial planning.
To help families navigate this process, representatives from INvestEd travel across the state to visit high schools and help students and their families plan for college, whether that means searching for scholarships, picking the right major and career path or asking questions about financial aid and how to apply.
During their visits, INvestEd highlights key sections of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. They also present information on the types of financial aid available from federal and state government, as well as institutions.
INvestEd has offered thousands of Hoosier families free advice from experts who want the best for our students and want to help limit excessive student debt after college.

There are also many other great resources available to Hoosier students and families to help with financial planning, including the Commission for Higher Education (CHE).
The CHE is dedicated to making college affordable for all students and offers many state financial aid programs like the 21st Century Scholarship and Workforce Ready Grants.
They also offer instruction and help to those who have questions about the FAFSA form or any other financial planning questions through their support center. To find out more about state financial aid programs and assistance, click here.
