The 2026 legislative session reconvened Jan. 5 as Senate Republicans continue to work on ways to make Indiana a great place to live, work and raise a family. Below are several ways to stay up to date with your senator and this year's bills.
Each senator has their own page on the Indiana Senate Republicans website where you can find contact information, bills they have authored and sign up for their weekly e-newsletters. After choosing your district's senator, you will find an e-Newsletter Sign Up header with a "Subscribe" button. By subscribing, you will receive updates about the legislative session, important information from other state agencies and community events. To see bills your senator is authoring, click the "My Legislation" button above the e-Newsletter Sign Up header.
Each senator's page also includes a "Contact Me" form where you can share any questions or comments you may have. If you need help navigating an issue with a state government agency, you can either fill out the "Request Assistance" form that is available on your senator's page or you can visit the "Constituent Resources" page that includes links to other state agencies and services.
Another way to follow along with the legislature is to visit the Indiana General Assembly website. This comprehensive tool allows you to see all bills filed for this year, view the daily schedule, watch a live stream of the legislative session and more. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the legislative session, find your senator's contact information here or contact 800-382-9467.
The 2026 legislative session is expected to conclude by the end of February.
