State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport) made the following statement today with regard to the veto override of House Enrolled Act 1041:
STATEHOUSE (May 24, 2022) — “I am very pleased to see the veto override of House Enrolled Act 1041 succeed. This legislation is simply about upholding the integrity of girls' sports and ensuring the hard work of these young women does not go unnoticed. I would like to thank my fellow senators who voted for the override and appreciate their continued efforts to keep girls' athletics fair in all K-12 Indiana schools."
