Statement from State Sen. Jim Buck

State Sen. Jim Buck (R-Kokomo) made the following statement regarding the conclusion of the 2025 legislative session:

STATEHOUSE (April 25, 2025) – "Today, the General Assembly finished another productive session filled with hard work and compromise to pass legislation that will benefit all Hoosiers. Senate Republicans' priority legislation was passed, and we successfully crafted a budget for the next two years.

"We have lived within our promise of passing a balanced budget while funding education, transportation infrastructure, and making strides in reforming our health care systems and cost. I look forward to seeing the positive impacts these bills will have on our great state.

"During the interim, I hope to hear ideas from Hoosiers about legislation they would like to see in the 2026 session. I am grateful for my colleagues and looking forward to continuing our work over the summer."
