State Sen. Brian Buchanan (R-Lebanon) made the following statement regarding the passing of Hendricks County Sheriff's Deputy Fred Fislar:
STATEHOUSE (April 16, 2024) – "Like many people, I was saddened to wake up to the news of the passing of Hendricks County Sheriff's Deputy Fred Fislar this morning.
"Deputy Fislar dedicated his life to protecting the residents of Hendricks County, and I will be forever grateful for his service to the community.
"Today, and in the weeks ahead, I will continue to pray for Deputy Fislar's family, loved ones and his fellow officers as they grieve this profound loss."
