Senate President Pro Tem David Long (R-Fort Wayne) made the following statement today regarding Officer David A. Tinsley, a 16-year veteran of the Fort Wayne Police Department, who passed away in the line of duty Monday night:
STATEHOUSE (Sept. 12, 2018) ― “Officer David A. Tinsley served and protected our community selflessly for many years, and my most sincere condolences and prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow officers. I hope the entire community will join me in honoring his life and offering support to the members of the Fort Wayne Police Department during this difficult time.”
