Spartz Named to Senate Committees

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 16, 2017) – State Sen. Victoria Spartz (R-Noblesville) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem David Long (R-Fort Wayne) to serve on four committees during the 2018 legislative session.

Spartz will be a member of the Senate Committees on Education and Career Development; Environmental Affairs; Insurance and Financial Institutions; and Pensions and Labor.

“I am ready to get to work and serve on these committees during the upcoming session,” Spartz said. “Each committee handles topics that are important to me and those in my district, and I will work hard to address the issues facing our community and state.”

Long said Spartz will be a valuable addition to these committees.

“Sen. Spartz is well-equipped and well-prepared to serve on these committees,” Long said. “I have no doubt she will be a great addition to each one, and we look forward to working with her and having her on our team.”
