LEISING VICE-CHAIRS STATE FAIR ADVISORY COMMITTEE: State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) serves as the vice-chair of the State Fair Advisory Committee on Thursday, Oct. 30. The committee reviewed the finances of the Indiana State Fair, talked about what went well, how the fair had a final attendance of 854,977, how to improve the fair experience and looked ahead to 2026.
The 2026 Indiana State Fair is scheduled to run from Aug. 7 – 23 and will be closed Mondays.

which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties,
and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
