Holdman to chair Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 8, 2022) – State Sen. Travis Holdman (R-Markle) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy for the 123rd Indiana General Assembly.

Holdman will also serve on the Senate Committee on Appropriations and the Senate Committee on Rules and Legislative Procedure.

"Through my roles on the Appropriations and Tax and Fiscal Policy committees, I will continue to support fiscally conservative principles and legislation," Holdman said. "I look forward to serving on my assigned committees and crafting the next state budget."

The 2023 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 22. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 9.
