Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, camping or other outdoor activities, properties managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) have something for all Hoosiers to enjoy.

The DNR manages state parks, forests, nature preserves and fish and wildlife areas throughout Indiana.

Recently, DNR released a new version of its smartphone app for iPhone and Android users. This updated app allows users to download property information and maps faster than ever before.

The Indiana Recreation Guide offers information about outdoor recreational sites in our state and can be picked up at locations around Indiana, or downloaded by clicking here.

With more than 7,700 campsites, anyone can find a place for a night or two under the stars. Visit camp.in.gov to find available spots and make a reservation at DNR properties around Indiana.

Visitors who would rather stay indoors also have options, with inns at Brown County, Clifty Falls, Fort Harrison, McCormick's Creek, Pokagon and Turkey Run state parks.

For the anglers out there, many public access sites with fishing opportunities are maintained by the DNR. To see where you can cast a line in Indiana, click here.
