STATEHOUSE (Feb. 13, 2023) – Gildardo Valdovinoz is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2023 legislative session, said State Sen. Brian Buchanan (R-Lebannon).
Valdovinoz, a resident of Frankfort, is the son of Gildardo Valdovinos and Patricia Mendez. He is a graduate of Frankfort High School and is currently a senior at IUPUI studying informatics.
"The IT department and its interns have been busy in these first few weeks of session helping senators and staff, "Buchanan said. "The work they do is invaluable and ensures our legislative sessions run smoothly."
As an IT intern, Valdovinoz works alongside the IT director, legislators, staff and fellow interns to assess and respond to the technological needs of the Senate.
Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end in April.
