STATEHOUSE (June 11, 2019) — Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) has appointed State Sens. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) and Jim Merritt (R-Indianapolis) to serve on the newly created 21st Century Energy Policy Development Task Force.
Koch has been appointed co-chair, and Merritt has been appointed as a member.
“I believe Sens. Koch and Merritt will both be tremendous assets to the task force as they work with our colleagues and the governor’s appointees to identify strategies that will advance Indiana’s energy policies for years to come,” Bray said.
Merritt, chair of the Senate Committee on Utilities, and Koch, a member of the Senate Committee on Utilities, were both selected for their extensive knowledge of and long-time public service working on energy policy.
