State Sen. R. Michael Young (R-Indianapolis) signs Senate Enrolled Act 249, which recently passed the House of Representatives and the Senate. SEA 249 would protect dependents and endangered adults from being taken advantage of, particularly by people they trust, by toughening penalties for those who repeatedly exploit this vulnerable population.
This legislation will now go to Gov. Holcomb’s desk for his signature.
