The lab has lessons designed for children from kindergarten to eighth grade using hands-on activities to teach curious minds about many different STEM topics. Teachers reserve the lab and pick the perfect activity for their classroom that aligns with their curriculum.
"I am grateful to have been invited to the university to learn about the STEM Discovery Lab and its valuable lessons available to our students," Tomes said. "It is wonderful to see USI work so hard to provide new opportunities for young Hoosier students to learn and grow."
