State Sen. Scott Baldwin (R-Noblesville) made the following statement today in response to
the passing of Hendricks County Sheriff Deputy Fred Fislar:
STATEHOUSE (April 18, 2024) – "It is always disheartening to hear of the passing of a fellow officer in the line of duty.
"Deputy Fred Fislar was a dedicated member of the Hendrick's County police force and a Marine Corps veteran. His unwavering commitment to serving and protecting his country and community leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him.
"I offer my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fellow officers during this difficult time. May his legacy of bravery and selflessness continue to inspire us all."
