Statement from State Sen. Linda Rogers

State Sen. Linda Rogers (R-Granger) made the following statement today on the proposed changes to House Bill 1333:

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 6, 2026) – "After hearing from many constituents opposed to the language regarding permitted use of farmland in HB 1333, I conveyed those concerns to State Sen. Eric Koch and am pleased to see he and State Rep. Kendell Culp have agreed to remove the language in the bill. I am supportive of economic development measures, but those measures should not take away local voices. I will continue to monitor the progress of HB 1333 and make sure our community's voice is reflected in the ongoing discussion."
