STATEHOUSE (April 10, 2026) – "I stand in support of Gov. Braun suspending the gas tax to provide relief to Hoosiers.
"The average gas price in Indiana currently is $4.13, a 67-cent increase in just one month. While suspending the gas tax will only provide relief of about 17 cents per gallon, it will still go a long way in easing the burden of the current international situation.
"I will continue working for Hoosiers to make sure life is affordable here in Indiana."
