FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
State Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus) issued the following statement today regarding the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) voucher funding announcement:
STATEHOUSE (April 14, 2026) — "Recently, it has been hard for working parents to find the child care they need so they can provide for their families while ensuring their children are taken care of. That's why I supported Senate Enrolled Act 4 during session – so we could invest in child care in our state. With affordable and reliable child care being so monumentally important, I am happy to see the governor investing in Hoosier families. We need to continue to look for ways to build on top of the legislation we passed this year to reduce child care costs and support families throughout Indiana."
