State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) made the following statement today in response to Gov. Eric Holcomb's 2023 State of the State address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 11, 2023) — "As chair of the Senate School Funding Subcommittee, I look forward to working with Gov. Eric Holcomb in his efforts to increase K-12 funding.
"During his State of the State address Tuesday, the governor outlined his goal to boost school funding in order to give districts the ability to support our educators and students.
"In the coming months, I look forward to working with Hoosiers across the state and other members of the General Assembly in order to take a comprehensive look at K-12 funding to ensure a bright future for Indiana."
