State Sen. Dan Dernulc (R-Highland) made the following statement today on the House Committee on Ways and Means passage of Senate Bill 27:
STATEHOUSE (Feb. 19, 2026) – "The idea of having the Bears join the Hoosier family is very exciting, and it could have a huge positive economic impact in northwest Indiana.
"Thank you to my colleagues for working on SB 27 and shepherding it through the legislative process. This is a great step toward moving the Bears and developing a positive relationship between them and Indiana."
