FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
State Sen. Brett Clark (R-Avon) made the following statement regarding the conclusion of the 2026 legislative session:
STATEHOUSE (Feb. 27, 2026) – "The General Assembly officially concluded the 2026 legislative session.
"This session, Senate Republicans championed legislation to eliminate state taxes on tips and overtime, eliminate waste, fraud and abuse within Indiana's welfare systems, and create Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority to possibly bring the Bears to Indiana.
"I am also proud to have supported legislation that requires reentry and recovery housing to register with the Department of Mental Health and Addiction and creates a new crime for distributing child sex abuse material.
"I look forward to spending time this interim in our community hearing from constituents and finding more ways to support Hoosiers and our district's needs."
