Statement from State Sen. Aaron Freeman

State Sen. Aaron Freeman (R-Indianapolis) made the following statement today in response to the passing of Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputy Fred Fislar:

STATEHOUSE (April 18, 2024) – "It is extremely heartbreaking to hear of the loss of Deputy Fislar. Men and women like Deputy Fislar put their lives on the line every day to serve and protect their community.

"I send my deepest condolences to Deputy Fislar's family, friends and fellow officers. I will always support the men and women in blue as they sacrifice their safety for our own.

"May Deputy Fred Fislar rest in peace, his memory will continue to inspire many."
