Statement from Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray

Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) made the following statement today regarding Gov. Holcomb's decision to send Indiana National Guardsmen to the southern border:

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 9, 2024) – "We are seeing a profound lack of leadership from the federal government as it pertains to border security. In light of that, states are left to act and do what we can to protect our citizens, which is why I'm supportive of the governor's decision to send Guardsmen to the border. I am grateful to the men and women in our National Guard who stand ready and willing to serve our state and nation."
