Statement from Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray

Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) made the following statement today in response to Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2023 State of the State address:

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 10, 2023) – “Hoosiers should be excited about the state of our state and what lies ahead. From companies choosing to locate here to impressive investments in communities across Indiana, our state is in a strong position thanks to continued steady conservative leadership.

"This session, my caucus and I are prioritizing improving our public and mental health infrastructure, planning for our state's fiscal future, and increasing pay for our Indiana State Police, among several other items. Just like it is for the governor, K-12 funding is always a priority, and we look forward to making sure our schools are fully funded. We are excited to be working toward these goals in collaboration with Gov. Holcomb and our colleagues in the House, and look forward to another great year for Indiana."
