Indiana Senate President Pro Tem David Long (R-Fort Wayne) made the following statement today regarding Gov. Holcomb’s announcement that Indiana has received a federal waiver to implement the state’s workforce plan:
STATEHOUSE (June 11, 2018) ― “This is exactly what the federal government should be doing more often – let the states innovate to find the most efficient, cost-effective methods to implement programs that use federal dollars. Indiana has figured out a way to do that with workforce development, and I am pleased the federal government has recognized it.”
