State Senator Eric Bassler to host town hall meetings
STATEHOUSE (Sept. 26, 2019) – State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) will host town hall meetings during October and November to discuss legislative topics with local residents.
The town hall meetings will be held at various locations in Senate District 39 on the following dates from 6-7 p.m.:
Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Glory Days Restaurant located at 802 Main St. in Clay City;
Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Bloomfield-Eastern Green County Public Library located at 125 S. Franklin St. in Bloomfield;
Tuesday, Oct. 15, at In Gods Arms Church (the former IGA building) located at 95 W. Franklin St. in Spencer;
Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Loogootee City Hall located at 401 John F Kennedy Ave. in Loogootee;
Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Sullivan Civic Building located at 344 N. Main St. in Sullivan; and
Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Cherry Ghost Coffee House located at 424 E. Main St. in Washington.
“Town hall meetings are a great opportunity for constituents to share their input,” Bassler said. “I hope to see people turn out and offer their thoughts on important issues affecting our community and state.”
