State Sen. Spencer Deery to serve on study committees

STATEHOUSE (July 9, 2025) — State Sen. Spencer Deery (R-West Lafayette) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2026 legislative session.

Deery's assignments include:

"Hoosiers deserve lawmakers who seek thoughtful, impactful, fact-based legislation," Deery said. "Interim committees can help push the General Assembly in that direction, which is why I am always eager and grateful to serve on so many study committees."

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
