State Sen. Kyle Walker to serve on study committees

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  

STATEHOUSE (July 9, 2025) — State Sen. Kyle Walker (R-Lawrence) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2026 legislative session.

Walker's assignments include:

“I'm honored to be appointed to serve on these important boards and interim study committees. Each presents a unique opportunity to shape policy that strengthens Indiana’s economy, enhances our public assets, and ensures government remains responsive and effective. I look forward to working with my colleagues to deliver meaningful results for Hoosiers.”

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
