State Sen. Jeff Raatz to serve on study committees

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2023) — State Sen. Jeff Raatz (R-Richmond) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2024 legislative session.

Raatz's assignments include:

"It is important for my colleagues and I to study topics, including Indiana's education, fiscal and health care systems, so we can consider policy that addresses issues affecting Hoosiers are experiencing in the next legislative session," Raatz said. "I look forward to working with and hearing from experts to better inform myself on these and other concerns our communities face."

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
