State Sen. Eric Koch recognized by
Alliance of Indiana Rural Water
STATEHOUSE (March 22, 2022) — Alliance of Indiana Rural Water (AIRW) presented State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) with the Commitment to Rural Water Excellence award for his work to improve utilities in rural Indiana at their 2022 Spring Conference in French Lick.
As chairman of the Senate Committee on Utilities, Koch meets regularly with AIRW members, who noted that they are appreciative of his attention to the concerns of rural water and wastewater utilities.
"It is an honor to be recognized by Alliance of Indiana Rural Water," Koch said. "AIRW is an important voice for rural Indiana as we shape state water and wastewater policy for the next decade and beyond."
Sen. Koch serves Senate District 44, which includes all or parts of Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe counties.
