STATEHOUSE (July 9, 2025) — State Sen. Dan Dernulc (R-Highland) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2026 legislative session.
Dernulc's assignments include:
“This interim I am looking forward to serving on the Roads and Transportation study committee for the first time," Dernulc said. "The committee will advise the BMV on specialty license plates and the naming of roads and bridges across Indiana. These are new areas of focus for me, so I hope to learn a lot and contribute my opinion."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
