STATEHOUSE (July 9, 2025) — State Sen. Blake Doriot (R-Goshen) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2026 legislative session.
Doriot's assignments include:
"Interim study committees are a great way for lawmakers to have more time to consider topics without the time constraints of session," Doriot said. "I'm looking forward to returning to the Statehouse to review a number of items that might impact Hoosiers, including reports from the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and reports on the status of pension-related items."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
