Indiana Senate Republicans are now accepting internship applications for the 2025 legislative session.
This internship gives young professionals a great opportunity to learn about state government and the legislative process, as well as engage in their community and build their professional network.
One opportunity is the Senate Page Program internship. Page interns help provide an educational experience for Hoosier students in grades six-12 to learn about Indiana's government and history.
Other responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of the Indiana Senate Page Program, introducing students to state senators and facilitating students' experience in the Senate Chamber during session.
This internship opportunity is ideal for, but not limited to, students seeking an education or history degree.
Candidates must be at least a college sophomore, recent college graduate, graduate student or law school student. Students and recent graduates with or seeking any degree can apply.
Those selected earn a $900 biweekly stipend and can gain scholarship and academic credit opportunities, professional development and networking.
Senate internships are full-time positions at the Statehouse in Indianapolis that typically start with a mandatory orientation in late December or early January and conclude at the end of the 2025 legislative session in April.
The deadline to apply for the internship program is Oct. 31.
