STATEHOUSE (April 21, 2025) – State Sen. Dr. Tyler Johnson (R-Leo) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in March and April.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"I always look forward to meeting students from our community every session," Johnson said. "Being a Senate page is a rewarding experience for both the students and myself. It is wonderful that Hoosier students get the opportunity to watch a legislative session, and I encourage all parents to sign their child up during the next legislative session."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
