Sen. Goode recognizes National Engineers Week

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 16, 2026) — State Sen. Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute) is recognizing National Engineers Week, which is scheduled to take place from Feb. 22 – 28 this year.

Senate Resolution 35 also recognizes the importance of engineers within communities for the contributions they make to ensure society operates smoothly.

"As the home of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology at Indiana State University, the Wabash Valley knows the importance of engineers in our community," Goode said. "Engineers help ensure our buildings are safe, infrastructure continues to work and communities can grow, and for that I am thankful for the work they provide all Hoosiers."

National Engineer's Week has been held every year since 1951, and this year's theme is "Transform Your Future."

Goode encourages residents of Senate District 38 to contact him with any questions or comments they may have. Goode can be reached by filling out a "Contact Me" form online at www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Goode or by phone at 800-382-9467.
