Sen. Freeman welcomes local students to Statehouse as Senate pages

STATEHOUSE (March 4, 2026) – State Sen. Aaron Freeman (R-Indianapolis) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages.

• Isabel Cox, from Indianapolis, attends Franklin Central Junior High School
• Averie Hockersmith, from Greenwood, attends Knightsbridge Academy
• Adisun Martin, from Indianapolis, attends Franklin Central High School
• Viviana Roberts, from Indianapolis, attends Franklin Central Junior High School
• Nathanael Williams, from Franklin, is a homeschooled student

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"Welcoming students to the Statehouse to engage with their government is one of the most important things we do," Freeman said. "I am happy we have the Senate Page Program to give Hoosier students this opportunity, and I encourage all to take advantage of it."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.

The 2026 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in learning more about the program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program. Applications for the 2027 program will be available at the end of 2026.
