Sen. Crider welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 13, 2023) – State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in February.

  • Om Aggarwal, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Central Junior High School
  • Wyatt Armstrong, from Shelbyville, attends Shelbyville Middle School
  • Ahlana Bullard, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Central High School
  • Austin Crider, from Fishers, attends Fall Creek Intermediate School
  • Carson Crider, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Intermediate School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"Pages get to see the legislative process from a very unique perspective," Crider said. "It is always a pleasure to meet the students participating in this program, hear about what they are learning throughout their day and answer any questions they may have. This includes my grandsons, who had the opportunity to partake in the program this month."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
