Sen. Crider welcomes local students to Statehouse
STATEHOUSE (Feb. 21, 2023) – State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"The page program is a wonderful learning experience and gives the future leaders of Indiana a look inside the legislative process," Crider said. "I would like to thank the students that visited me in January and I look forward to seeing more bright faces as the session page program continues."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
