Sen. Byrne welcomes local students to Statehouse as Senate pages

STATEHOUSE (March 5, 2026) – State Sen. Gary Byrne (R-Byrneville) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages.

• Patience Caudill, from Salem, is a homeschooled student
• Caleb Green, from Pekin, attends William W. Borden Jr/Sr High School
• Alonna Hoover, from Orleans, is a homeschooled student
• Levi Hoover, from Orleans, is a homeschooled student
• Boaz Rances, from Scottsburg, is a homeschooled student
• Grace Wallace, from Campbellsburg, is a homeschooled student
• Jesse Wallace, from Campbellsburg, is a homeschooled student

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"I enjoy helping Senate pages connect what they learn in school to what they see during their day at the Statehouse," Byrne said. "Each year, I am glad to see so many students take advantage of the opportunity to participate in such a unique program."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.

The 2026 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in learning more about the program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program. Applications for the 2027 program will be available at the end of 2026.
