Sen. Busch welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 22, 2024) – State Sen. Justin Busch (R-Fort Wayne) welcomed Fort Wayne residents and Woodside Middle School students Corinne and Mallory Ream to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"The page program is a great way for students to learn more about state government and meet their state senator," Busch said. "I'm always glad to meet students from my district and answer any questions they have."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
