Sen. Brown welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April 21, 2025) – State Sen. Liz Brown (R-Fort Wayne) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in March and April.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"It is important to give our state's future leaders a firsthand opportunity to observe the legislative process," Brown said. "The Senate Page program offers a look into how state government functions and what state legislators do during session. I always enjoy meeting with students who have traveled all the way to the capitol for this experience and encourage parents to consider signing their student up to participate next year."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.

The 2025 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in signing up their child for the 2026 program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program at the end of 2025 for more information. More information about the Senate Page Program is also available on this site.
