STATEHOUSE (March 10, 2023) – State Sen. Vaneta Becker (R-Evansville) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in February.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"It is always a pleasure meeting our pages and showing them around the Statehouse," Becker said. "The Senate Page Program is a wonderful way for young Hoosiers to observe the legislative process firsthandand build upon what they learn in the classroom."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
