Sen. Bassler welcomes Sullivan Middle School student to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April. 21, 2025) – State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) welcomed Sullivan Middle School student Olivia Eslinger to the Statehouse who served as a Senate page in March.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"It is always a pleasure to see the impact of the Senate Page Program on young Hoosiers from all backgrounds," Bassler said. "Connecting our future leaders with their state government brings me great honor as state senator, and I am proud to see so many inspired young students representing our state."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.

The 2025 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in signing up their child for the 2026 program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program at the end of 2025 for more information. More information about the Senate Page Program is also available on this site.
