SCHMITT’S ELECTION TRANSPARENCY PASSES COMMITTEE: State Sen. Daryl Schmitt (R-Japer) presents two election-focused bills he authored during a meeting of the Senate Committee on Election on Monday, Jan. 12. Senate Bill 112 would ensure that Hoosiers are voting where they live and Senate Bill 113 would increase the time elections materials are preserved in county election offices. Both bills passed the committee and head to the Senate floor for further consideration.
