RAATZ HONORS EAST CENTRAL FOOTBALL TEAM: State Sen. Jeff Raatz (R-Richmond) presents Senate Concurrent Resolution 18 at the Statehouse Tuesday, Jan. 30. SCR 18 honors the East Central football team on its 2017 Indiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A state championship title. The East Central Trojans earned this title when they played against the Lowell High School Red Devils at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Trojans defeated the Red Devils 14-7, making it the school’s second football championship in the history of East Central High School. Raatz was joined in the Senate by members of the football team.
