Page Office Internship with the Senate Republicans

Page Office Internship with the Senate Republicans

Monday, October 5, 2026

Applications to intern with the Indiana Senate Republicans are open for the 2027 legislative session.

The page office internship is ideal for those pursuing careers in education, communications or public service. Page interns assist in the daily operations of the Senate Page Program, a long-standing tradition that allows students in grades 6-12 from across the state to visit the Indiana Statehouse during the legislative session and learn about state government.

Page interns will play a role in:

  • Instructing young Hoosiers on the legislative process and introducing them to their state senators;
  • Facilitating students' experience in the Senate chamber during session; and
  • Teaching students Indiana history and fun facts about the Statehouse.

Benefits

Interns earn a $900 biweekly stipend, are eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university and can apply for academic scholarships through the Verizon Communications and Senator David Ford Scholarship funds.

Eligibility

This internship is open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as recent college graduates, graduate students or law students. All majors are accepted.

This is a full-time, in-person, spring semester internship at the Statehouse in Indianapolis that typically begins in late December or early January and concludes at the end of the 2027 legislative session, which by law must end on or before April 29.

Application Deadline

The deadline to apply for the internship program is Oct. 31.
