LEISING RECOGNIZES FFA STUDENTS AT THE STATEHOUSE: State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg, podium) welcomes FFA students to the Statehouse Tuesday, Feb. 21. As chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Leising presented Senate Concurrent Resolution 16, which recognizes the National FFA Organization and the Indiana FFA Association for their work in the advancement of agricultural education in Indiana.
FFA works to strengthen the confidence of their members and help them develop professional skills they will use in the future. Before presenting SCR 16 on the Senate floor, Leising had the opportunity to meet with the students and answer their questions about state government.

State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
